About Andreana
Mission
Hello! I'm Andreana, and my mission as a freelance writer & consultant is to provide an experienced approach to organizing, assembling, and creating clearly written documentation, and content strategy needs for individuals and businesses.
I excel at distilling complex ideas and reshaping them into digestible content for targeted audiences. I also offer my services as a mentor for other freelancers, who for example may be "stuck" or roadblocked toward completing their project work.
I have a unique perspective that is both creative, and analytical...which gives me the ability to work on highly creative, or complex technical projects.
I want to help people achieve their documentation and communication needs, so that they can bridge gaps in understanding - internally, externally - people to people.
Experience
Andreana has supported businesses of various industries for over 17 years, writing web content, UX content, user guides, communications, blogs, proposals, applications for grants, self-help documentation, business process flow documentation, and more.
Andreana loves to collaborate and learns something new from every person she meets
Andreana also has over 12 years of experience as an adult continuing education instructor, mentoring other writers, and students. A former community college English instructor, Andreana still volunteers for a local grass roots writing organization that supports emerging creative writers.
Andreana has also had the experience of tutoring/coaching CEO's and other leaders with confidential tutoring sessions, focused on practicing corporate and conversational communication in English.

Education & Training
Andreana Binder graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in English - Creative Writing, and Antioch University - Los Angeles with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
Having worked alongside software development teams for many years, Andreana has a strong understanding of Agile methodology for product and project management. She was first Agile Fundamentals certified in 2007. Andreana's interest in Agile led her to become Agile-SCRUM Product Owner & SCRUM Master certified in 2021.
